Aarti shot to fame when she won the coveted Miss India title in 2000. She comesfrom a Sindhi family that has no Bollywood connections at all. She has appearedin videos for Adnan Sami’s album Tera Chehra and Sukhwinder Singh’s Nasha hiNasha. Aarti usually does item songs and her most recent one was ‘Unke nashemein’ in Shootout at Lokhandwala. In Dhoom Dadakka she plays the lead role,something which she has never done before as her films are multi-starrers.
